A very special Double Wedding Ring Quilt

Margaret Messier and Annette Guenther are shown here putting some last minute stitches on a Double Wedding Ring quilt that was made as a group effort with friend Halyna Doherty for Halyna's son and daughter in law for their recent wedding.

The finished quilt is shown here. Halyna (on the left) chose beautiful gold background tone-on-tone fabrics with a touch of metallic for a exquisite quilt with a "touch of class."

Halyna writes--

"Well... the excitement of the wedding is now over, and we are enjoying nice memories of how we prepared for this event. One of the highlights for sure was the quilt... Here is a photo of the presentation to the kids at the reception.

Rosemary, thanks to you and your capable teaching, we were able to learn and enjoy making this quilt. When I think of the double wedding ring pattern - you come to mind. You encouraged us and helped us along, sometimes in the midst of our silliness.. thanks for your patience and your support. We enjoyed this project very much."
